In additon to many different calculator tools, Desmos.com offers Classroom Activities, which allows teachers to create interactive slides for students to answer questions, experiment with graphs, draw sketches, and interact with classmates. I have been using Classroom Activities with my classes for the last year and I love the ability to what all my students are doing in real time. It’s all free, by the way.
Desmos also offer a number of pre-built Classroom Activities that you can use with students. In Paint (a Desmos Classroom Activity), students develop an informal understanding of equivalent ratios. Students will use ratio tables to mix paint that is the same color as a given paint color. They will also decide which mixtures from a list will make the same paint color.
