Todd Orelli, from NYC’s District 79 – has created a bridge from the conceptual understanding developed by the core problems in the framework to HSE-like questions for students to apply that understanding. His activity is intended to be used after students have completed the Counting Antibodies activity from Unit 3.
This activity:
- Reviews key concepts and vocabulary from Unit 3 on rate of change and starting amount.
- Continues the work of Counting Antibodies exploring linear functions in an interdisciplinary context.
- Transitions students to HSE questions on rate of change and starting amount.
- Includes a Facilitator’s Guide with an overview of the task and Unit 3 HSE style questions.
