These graphic organizers can be used in remote classes to allow students to analyze characters in a story the class is reading. Choose one character from the story and think about their character traits. What evidence can you find in the story that proves that the character has these traits?

In Jamboard or Google Slides, students can work together in small groups to complete the graphic organizer. You might make a different slide for each group and ask the group to choose one person to take notes and one person to share their screen so others can follow along.

The links above connect to view-only files. You can copy the files to your own Drive before modifying them and sharing them with your students.

You can also assign Jamboards or Google Slides through Google Classroom. If you have created the document already, click the Drive link below the instructions. Choose your Jamboard or Google Slide and connect it to the assignment, then choose “Make a copy for each student.” This will allow each student to work on their own character map.
