Intelligent Reading Comprehension Practice at English for Everyone

Ew… worksheets? But how many of us haven’t wanted practice questions that include high-quality explanations of wrong answers? And for students who struggle with reading, or repeatedly fail the HSE reading test, opportunities to practice comprehension questions and understand where they went off track is essential.

English for Everyone comprehension worksheets are organized by grade level. Students can use them individually, or they can be used by a whole class or in Zoom breakout rooms. Make sure you scroll down the page to Critical Thinking Reading Comprehension Worksheets. There are five passages per grade level.

Keep scrolling to access Short Story Reading Comprehension Worksheets, organized into three levels: Beginning, Intermediate, Advanced, also with answer explanations. Finally, at the bottom of the page, find sets of informational text at the beginning, intermediate, and advanced levels. Most of these don’t have answer explanations yet, but they are in the process of being developed.

    1. I was able download multiple worksheets from different parts of the website this morning. I wasn’t asked for payment or required to log in.

Could you say more about where in the website you were asked for money?
